Be honest, after Friday's performance are you excited and looking forward to it?

Half of me is dreading it, the other half is thinking it can't be as bad as friday and perhaps that was the lowest point of the season, here's hoping.

Yep. For me the excitment of going to Pools is that you don't know whether it's going to be 6-0, 0-6 or 6-6. I have seen enough from the last six weeks to still have belief that we can put in good performances, we simply need better tactics, our best players playing and for it all to come together. Easier said than done admittedly when we have the Yorkshire dwarf running things.

Do our hopes tonight rest on Joel Porter starting ahead of Ritche Barker?

Is that going to happen?

I have mixed feelings towards Danny to be honest, he was totally clueless IMO when he first came, then the job he did last season was excellent, I certainly don't buy this 'anyone could have got us promoted last season' belief as I think that is patronising and unfair. He started off this season well, the new signings looked decent but for the last few months he has made decision after decision that has been beyond belief.

I'd love to sit him down and ask him the following questions;
1) Why does Joel Porter only ever get a few minutes at the end?
2) Why do you continually play Robbie Elliot.
3) Why does Richie Barker continuously get 90 minutes regardless of how many goals we have scored, who we are playing and whether he has been effective or not.
4) What did Jamie McCunnie do wrong to be moved from a right back position where he was looking excellent.
5) Why was James Brown on the bench last week at Northampton.
6) Why has Ben Clark featured so sparingly this season

Sadly the people that run our club will never let us get within spitting distance of the management to ask those questions for whatever reason we will never know.

I can't see it in a million years. Even if we won 5-0 with Joel starting he would still find an excuse to drop him for next Tuesday.

In fact with a birthdate like that I'd be more tempted to call him a pony than a dwarf.

i'm going because i have a season ticket, if i didn't i think i would have stayed in the house where its warm. i do believe/hope that friday was a one off performance and it'll never be that bad again although i'm not 100% confident. if the performance/result matches that of friday then i think the board will have no choice other than to sack wilson!!! refred

hopefully friday was the big kick up the arse that everyone from the chairman downover needed and we'll turn it around and stay up comfortably, and that wilson realises elliott and barker should play no further part this season and he gives porter and mccunnie a run in the side..... confised

Well said.

I also don't think that I could drag myself along tonight if I didn't know that I could have a drink or several beforehand to numb the sense of foreboding.

Before Friday I was definitely going to Donny.

Now it depends on tonight's display. Not totally on the result, but definitely on the team that he picks and the way that they perform.

I'm confident of 3 points tonight. The players know they have to make amends for that dross on Friday.

the players of two years ago knew that after the Tamworth debacle for the following match against Colchester.
We lost 2-1......................................
