I would say, hypothetically of course, that if a "very senior official" did say that then surely that same "very senior official" should fkin well do something about it today by advertising what should be by tea time a vacant managerial position.

But what would you all think if a very senior club official commented after Fridays game that "It was the worst, most abysmal performance in 15 years". And lets just say, for the sake of the argument, that he said it in public forum.

Have you learnt what hypothetical means this weekend or something?!

Lets not be silly - there have been loads of worse performances. Although it was pathetically shite the other day....

I don't think I've seen a worse first half an hour.. FFS we were playing Cheltenham with 4 away points all season and having only scored in three away games all season it should have been 5-0

Anyway time to move on another game tomorrow.

it wasn't worse than when we played Macclesfield in the rain when Andy Dibble was in goal..... Also what about the year that Darlo beat us 3-2 at the Vic when Stu irvine scored late on, it could of been about 10-2 to them that day....

The team raises its game when playing the top clubs. Southend are near the top. The team raises its game but still usually loses unfortunately. sadx
