If he can do tht in front of the kid then I would say hes capable of harming the kid too,he should have been locked up & she should be told if she had him back she would lose the kid.

If you love someone, you would NEVER beat them up, EVER. This proves he does NOT love her at all, so she "should" accept this (as painful as it may be to her) and get shot of the w****r.
However, she probably doesn't know anything else other than abuse at the hands of this man, and I'm sad to say she'll never experience what being loved by somebody really feels like if she stays with this man.
There are thousands of examples like this, and unfortunately they all seem to end up the same way, it's rare for a woman to break free from such men because they generally hunt them down afterwards. The law HAS to make an example of bastards like this for precisely this reason - she probably feels there is no way of getting shot of him so she accepts the usual "inevitable" outcome of getting back together with him.

The justice system is totally ****** up when w*****s like this can get away with a soft sentence for doing something like that.
