September 22nd, we beat Orient, and Doncaster lost at Southend. I was talking to Donny fans I met from when we played them up here, at Liverpool Street tube station.
They haven't lost away in the League since, and we haven't won away in the League since.
I hereby formally pass the bad results away from home back onto Doncaster Rovers FC, and I insist that they accept this gift with immediate effect.
The sneaky twats, eh?? refred refred

I'm sure you're right Mr P but are you absolutely certain that its nothing to do with poor selections and us playing shite?

at the time we were playing well away from home, and we had our best XI out in general.
The Donny fans were complaining about O'Driscoll in the way we are complaining about Wilson now.
Therefore the little pixie which made O'Driscoll do all of that back then, has been transported by me to the Vic and onto Danny Wilson.
I'm banishing the pixie by means of giving it back to them via the Bunker.
From now on, Wilson will become a genius.

There's a logical issue here that I can't quite put me finger on confised
I mean...there has to be a modus operandi for the away jinx to operate, doesn't there? Which might, of course, be poor selections and playing shite

Yes but that was an accident.

We had an away jinx during Coopers two seasons. I got bored sick of driving forever and watching us get beat.

Mr Cooper decided that the thing to do was turn up with 20 minutes to spare, quick warm up and go for broke. Lo and behold, 5-2 win at Wrexham.

'What time is it?? Five past Dibble!!' clappp clappp clappp

Neil Danns scored for us. Now whatever happened to him??

Don't know where Niel Danns is now, might be be Birmingham or Blackburn sctatchinghead
But the last time I saw him play, was against us at Colchester a couple of seasons ago, night match I think, surprise surprise we were unlucky to lose, but Niel Danns made a point of coming over to our end to applaud us, only to get the usual verbals and v signs, he just embarrassingly shrugged his shoulders and walked away, so I wouldn't think he'd be too keen to come back even if we wanted him or could afford him.
But it was very dissapointing to see the reaction our 'fans' (minority but the loudest) give him refred

I too was at that game Mr Pooie, and it was disappointing. Danns was trying to say, yeah but I play for these now but I liked my time at yours, kind of thing.

Didn't Steve Howie hit the bar after Nelse was taken off with yet another head injury??

Yeah I was also at that game at Colchester. If I'm not mistaken it was the fop about town, Tax paying Poolie who was at the forefront of directing abuse at Danns.

I think you are mistaken there young Tim, I barracked Danns about his outrageous hairstyle at the time but I certainly never gave him any v's as I've never had anything against the guy apart from a ridiculous perm. That more 'The Gadgie's' style!

He won't be coming back to us because he's a good player and we're crap, not because of a couple of people swearing at him three years ago!

Reminds me of my last trip to Northampton. That time it was Steve Howard who scored two goals to beat us, the first time he had played against us since he left. Like Danns, he walked to the Pools fans at the end to applaud us. Some of us applauded back, at which point we started getting dog's abuse from some of the other Poolies - "what are clapping that w**ker for, go on Howard fk off................."

I didn't realise he had gone to The Foxes over Christmas, it was £1.25 Million, still the Mill House Mensa Assocation were right about him, weren't they??

I remember someone on Into The Net slagging off those of us who applauded him. A good old debate ensued.
