So come on then who do you consider is the biggest celebrity to have lived during your lifetime?
Use your own criteria but bear in mind that "celebrity" (the characteristic of celebrity, that is) means fame, not merit.

If you want also to add who you think is the most worthy person, don't hesitate. (I think we already had that recently though.)

It's hard to peg down anyone but if I'm honest I'd have to go for either Elvis Presley or Marylin Monroe as the biggest celebrity.
Some of you who are less than 30 years old are bound to differ of course.

Personally as far as 'worthy' is concerned, Winston Churchill is the name that comes to mind for me.

if i had lived under the regime he did i would probably have been a terrorist too
and he has certainly done his time for his crime and more than made up for it

Yeah, I guess that if you're orchastrating terrorism but you're in jail then that makes it ok. Even Mandela himself (in his autobiography) admitted to authorising a major bombing in Pretoria from his cell. 16 were killed and over a hundred seriously injured, all of them civilians.

If you are being oppressed then by all means fight but fight the oppressors not bomb innocent people.

The bloke should have been hung for this crime alone. It make me physically sick when the politician arse lick this twat, he doesn't deserve medals, a bayonet in the heart would be more appropriate.

which brings us back to the beginning what have they done in life for this so called celebrity status granted a great footballer as was PELE AND BEST RIP but that is all bestie was a good player at least pele did some good after he finished
Beckhams status has been well groomed by the mrs at every opportunity for her own ends look at the "POSH' label she tried to nick from the football club
i can't understand a society that throws money at people like this
yet as Mr I said what did Sparks get out of life after literally helping to save this country from german rule

The double standards that people adopt annoys me Mandela terrorist now hero worshipped. Gandi fought to get the british out of india now hero worshipped. Adamms and mcguiness terrorists now MPs.
