Chernobyl. More to the point, the ghost town where the workers used to live.

A few years ago pools hosted about 8 kids from Chernobyl through a charity, these kids would all be dead now, but coming here and breathing our air could prolong their lives that little bit more. Some of the kids were given glasses as their eyesight was poor and the reaction when wearing them was an intensely humiliating experience as was watching them sniff any food before consuming it and their total reluctance to eat any form of minced meat or drink milk.

Yet they looked so healthy and were seemingly very happy walking around the ground clutching a H'Angus toy each.

Very sad

So how about London then? That must be a weird place to visit.
The great smog of 1952 caused lot more deaths than Chernobyl has so far, or depending on your source, is ever likely to.
