we look short of options up front at the moment, especially from the bench.

We are so short of pace upfront its embarrassing.

You need pace in this league. We have none.

Moore has plenty of pace....

So we do have some.

I think Barker can do a job coming on for the last 20 or so minutes, but is no longer a good choice to start.
Yesterday he was awful,2 or 3 times he got t he ball down the left & his pass to Humphreys fell way short

Mackay was dropped Kev.

Porter is consistantly dropped.

Moore plays out wide was much as he does up front.

Brown isnt that quick. Brilliant but not that quick.

Dont let facts get in the way lads.

Also when Barker plays we need a central midfielder making quick runs in behind him......Liddle and Boland have no pace either.

Again though....just facts.

Mackay played, even if only for a bit, Foley played, from the start, Joel's injured and Moore scored. Those ARE facts.

But don't let it get in the way of the 'we hate Barker' campaign will you??  stpid

Thats right mate....pick a different game to try and prove your point.

Foley was on then was off.....but looked dangerous with his pace. Mackay came on and looked dangerous with his pace. Moore scored.....from midfield.

The only one up front for the whole game was the one I was talking about.

And its not a hate Barker campaign. We just have better players that can play the type of football we have become accustomed to.

If Barker was playing well, and the team played good football do you think anyone would hate him?

And as you didnt read the mail the night before the game, or Wilsons notes in the programme, you wouldnt know how good Barker is supposed to be.

are you taking the piss over foley
looked dangerous with his pace a good example being when he got through with the ball and didnt have a clue what to do
yes thats the sort of forward we need not the one with 11 goals this season
in the second half when we were attacking down the cyril knowles side barker was flicking the balls onto foley who then lost every one of them
foley is not the great white hope you would like him to be in fact for me he is a shirt wasted when he plays

Neither Foley or Barker are good enough. Both have their uses but in different ways. Barker is too slow to catch cold and foley is quick but is 'lost' in the first team

Foley's first touch more often than not causes the ball to pop up,even from a ball played into feet, so then he has to bring it under control from his own bad touch. Then he gets closed down/tackled/loses it. It shouldn't be an issue at professional level, but it is for him unfortunately.

But I did read the Mail, I assume the online articles are the same as the ones in the paper??

I can bang on about it forever and I probably will but is this the same feller who got a goal and another entry on the scoresheet from a penalty, which obviously doesn't count, yeah I know, is anyone telling Ronaldo that??, just 16 days ago?? And we haven't failed to score in a game in over four weeks and we haven't lost at home in five games?? And we dropped just three more points than Leeds in December??

I just wonder what will happen when Joel gets the nod and fook all happens, because, lovely feller though he is, he's not as good as you make out. But of course that'll be someone else's fault because they aren't good enough to play alongside him.

Who was top scorer last season and how many did he get?? And the season before?? Everyone bleats on about 20 goal a season strikers and then we get one and his goals aren't good enough. It's fookin' absurd. sctatchinghead sctatchinghead
