In view of the comments passed on another post, to those who've seen them, what was your favourite... ?

Whiskey Galore: I absolutely fookin' adored that film.
And it's basically a true story!

I liked 'Barnacle bill' although the film had several names.. where Alec Guinness bought a pier and made it into a static liner ....We visisted Hunstanton in Norfolk in September and came across the site of the filming..... I loved how they all had a subtle moral tale to tell.

I have seen the remake of the Ladykillers which had Tom Hanks in, I only got about half way through it though I thought it was rubbish, I haven't seen any of the others though

UTTER AND COMPLETE SHIIT..... just like Bilko...they take the original, which cannot be bettered and then delude themselves into thinking they actually can.
