When i was a lad we where out every night carol singing one year we even went out on crimbo morning made a fortune.
Wooler Road. The Oval. The Cresent were happy hunting grounds. Come All Yea Faithful was our trade mark carol.

Agree MR I sad fact that our bairn's are not safe on the streets any more.

My lad Joseph was down in Durham outside Woolies with his euphonium busking with his mates
this morning for couple of hours, I was there in a "minder" capacity watching over the instrument
case full of coinage and on the look out for the old bill

Was tempted to take a % but couldn't do it to the little darlins after seeing the look on
their faces as they were raking it in and witnessing them freezing their wotsits off playing
all of those festive tunes in sub zero temps.
