I see from Ceefax that Lee Bullock is back from Bury. They apparently were interested in signing him but he wanted to return to Hartlepool. So, some additional cover in midfield - I wonder if he can play at right back?
I guess it says quite a bit about the club if he is prepared to be a part player with us rather than getting regular first team football with Bury.

Bury miss out on Bullock signing
Bury have missed out on signing Hartlepool midfielder Lee Bullock.
The Shakers offered Bullock a permanent deal following a successful loan spell at Gigg Lane but the 26-year-old has opted to return to Hartlepool.

"That's his decision and as they are a division above us you can understand that," director of football Keith Alexander told Bury's website.

Bullock, who is yet to feature for Pools this season, started eight games for Bury during his loan spell.

It says to me that we're paying him silly money that they won't go anywhere near.

how long has he got left on his contract with Pools?
We should tell him he's going back to Bury on loan for the rest of the season, whereupon Bury will pay their normal wages to him, and we'll top up the rest.
Bargain!
However it sounds like he's not going to go along with that.
He's never a League One player in a million years, look at the difference in class comparing Bullock to Brown, Monkhouse, and Liddle.

On a more scary note, if Pools are planning on using Bullock to fill in the gap made by selling one of those three I will be posting my season ticket back to the club.
