For some reason the sound has stopped working on my computer.

I've checked the volume and what not, but not sure why it's suddenly stopped.

Any ideas?

Try checking any media players on your computer, they might be set to mute which could affect your sound

Thanks Fensy. Have just checked and it's not. Plus, I've never even been on any media player or anything with sound for ages!

It might not be the pc that is the problem.

Have you had your ears checked to make sure you've not gone deaf?

thats a very good point, that especially at this time of year, women do seem to get what is know widely in the medical proffession as "seasonal defness", as they go about sorting out xmas , presents, turkeys, wrapping, ect, and their blokes are sayin are we going out down the pub , they continue with queueing in supermarkets buying enought food for a siege, inviting distant relatives to come round and drink your J Smiths, when all they want to do is go down the pub, then they buy the most obserure and usless gifts for people they hardly know, coz its tradition and the people don't want them so they label them put them in the attic to give to some other unfortuate next year ...........

Open up the full audio control panel by double clicking the little loudspeaker thingy and make sure ALL the sliders are on maximum.
