Very quickly...

First half we played okish. We completley dominated and deserved to be a few up. We lacked cutting edge. Crewe were terrible.

Second half, we didn't play as well as I wanted us to. We were scrappy in midfield and lacked ideas. However, Crewe were again terrible and we took our chances and deserved our goals in the end.

Humphreys was superb, Nelson was back to his best, Liddle was ok. Nolan was good again.

Everyone else did their bit...apart from Butdz because he didn't really need to do anything. But he looked decent enough in the bit he did do.

Peformance: 6/10
Deserved result: 9.5/10

Toodle pip.

I personally think Boxing day is going to have to be one of those "entertainment is all very well but look where it got us last time" matches.

Let Leeds outplay us but this time we get the goals.

It's nice to see a team play like we do for no apparent reason at times. They were gash.

We were flattered but there was some good football. Could do with finishing better, but the likes of Humpty had a good game. Nice to see Elliott get a game too.

Brown seemed a bit nervous though. Don't really know why, but it seemed at times that even he was burned by his own pace

Grimsby were slightly better than Crewe.
