Iain Wright was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Dept of Communities and Local Government in June 2007. Power is always delightful to a politician. Principle comes second.

Any idea of the timing when the reduction in services at the hospital was finally agreed...?

As always its a smoke screen. Any issue a little sensitive in a constituency, the local MP can resign saying he quit on a point of principles. Everyones a winner. The MP because he's popular with his gullible constituents. The government keep to their policy without any word from aforementioned MP who is now asking for a bus to take dying people 15 miles. Ten minutes later there's a quick shuffle and he's back in another job of the same level.

He's a Gordon Brown nose, two faced snivelling shit.

When I was at school we had to learn a song called 'The Vicar of Bray'.. it was the story of the said vicar who through a period of religious turmoil always managed to hold onto his post by doing whatever he was told to do and obeying his leaders every whim, as a reward he kept his post..... the final verse was..' and whosoever the King may be, I'll be the Vicar of Bray Sir!'....... has a familiar ring to it doesn't it.

I wish Ian Wright would buy a canoe and paddle off into the North Sea.

Yeah, he could do us all a favour and become MP for Panama East... and we could elect a roll of roofing felt, it couldn't do any worse.
