Swansea train bricked as it left swansea
fighting at cardiff with rugby fans returning from home nations match
series of mechanical faults saw poolies get back in early hours of morning

You wouldn't if you were around in those days Tom. There was nothing but chew surrounding the LL. Remember this was the heyday of football violence and wherever the train stopped the local mob was there to meet it. It got more bricks chucked at it than the great wall of China.

the last time I can remember one of these was Darlo away early part of 84/85 season. Pools won 1-0 - guess what got chucked at the train as it pulled out of Darlo station??

jock was there and the bus was parked at tower bridge. We parked there, because the driver said the law said we had to. When we got to the ground the bobby said, why would we say that when there is room for 50 buses

Tower bridge is a central parking area for west and south london. Lad's parked there for the recent Milwall game. Big Ben for the tourists. Jock doesn't remember where London is. Been away 25 years
