have the Sri Lankans left it too late in declaring or will they skittle us out for sub 150?

I'm going for the latter.

A little unfortunate in this Test. We've bowled with a fair bit of discipline on a damn good pitch and Sri Lanka's innings was built on two very very good knocks. We missed the chance to put similar runs on the board, and that was in a large part due to a very poor piece of luck with Vaughan (who was looking fantastic), and two horrendous decisions with Pietersen and especially Cook. Little margins like that can decide Test matches.

That said, Monty has been disappointing, and you get the feeling that if we could swap spinners England would be 2-0 up.

And Bell's nashed now too.

What's the drill, we're allowed to get 50's but not centuries?

I've been thinking of sending in a slogan the BBC can use when advertising this sport

'Cricket, slightly more interesting then golf'

Do you think it will catch on?

Each to his own Mr Avenger.

Now let me see........five days basking in the sultry temperatures of Sri Lanka, where even the rain is pleasant, or two hours feeling your feet slowly vanish on a windswept terrace..... sctatchinghead sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

Lets hope the pitch is better for the test in Galle. Sl were just content to have a totally flat track in Colombo so there was little chance of us getting a result.
