You may have remembered a few weeks ago I started a thread saying Christmas was ruined? Remember? It was a classic. I was angry as I didn't have a ticket for Hartlepool away on boxing day. Tickets were like gold dust.

Well on Monday I ammended the thread saying xmas was saved as one of the lads who we see reguarly at games was going away with his missus and therefore had two tickets which I bought. Happy Days. Really Really chuffed.

Last night i'm watching the footy and our lass is in the bedroom wrapping up presents or adjusting her tampon, I dunno. Anyway she calls me in.

"Dave look at this"

I enter the room and she had made a massive board with all my away ticket stubs on it, glued down. It was great,

"aww thanks love....wait, what's that ticket in the middle? Is that my Hartlepool away ticket that I haven't yet used and is now ruined and I can't ring Leeds for a replacement as it's not in my name and they'll rumble me? IS IT? IS IT??"

So she's p*ssing herself laughing until she realises what she's done and see's the pure in my eyes,

Can not believe it. Anyway last night she slept on the sofa as "I was being a total dickhead"

She knows how much Leeds means to me after she threatened to rip my Play Of Final ticket up and I told her i'd rather she died than I lose that ticket.

Oh god. I'm going to go anyway and hopefully get in.
