Clever folk can always make the stats tell the story they want  My point really was that ticket allocations are seldom what we would like. Although I have to say that you boys bring new meaning to the analysis of ticket numbers and price.

Although 900 and some may sound good, with not very many shopping days left to Christmas I still have no idea if I will be spending Boxing Day by the coast or in the bossom of my family. And didn't I see somewhere that you still have tickets left for Boxing Day stpid

Anyway I'm away now to ER - we have a stupid 12:15pm today against our cousins from Kirklees - 32,000 plus sell out I believe. Good luck yersens. Your midweek performance sounds like it was back to early season form so Boxing Day should be a cracker. mot

Tell you what, let's know how many wanna come and we'll build an extension to accomodate you all... You are getting a fair share of the total capacity of the ground... it's as simple as that.

I'll let you know after the match when I've taken soundings.

its not really our fault leeds have managed to get themselves into the third division and we shouldnt have to apologise for it.

whether the home ends for boxing day are sold out or not is an irrelevance.

our away end holds just under 1000. there is nowhere else in the ground the police would let pools accomodate away fans. you could argue that the away end should be bigger, but how often a season is it sold out ? two or three times ?

i suspect that were pools to sell their 1700 allocation at carlisle, more tickets may be made available.

Who is apologising, Chip?

Leeds United are the Joe Bugner of the football world, desperate for a last shot at the big time

Champions of Europe my arsehole

If you sell out your 1700 allocation, I reckon we'll give you more as there is an open terrace behind the goal that would be empty otherwise. Well we did that when Leeds sold all of theirs so I dont see why we wont if you do.

I remember going to Brentford once on New Year's Day for a 12 o'clock kick-off!!! Thumping headache all the way down!!!! Plus the bastards beat us 1-0 to end our 10 match unbeaten run!!!
I'm not too sure we'll sell out for Carlisle based on our current results, if we pick up a couple of wins then that might change - especially if we win on Boxing Day.......................

Can't see me going the way that we're playing.

If it had been a normal Saturday game I would have been there regardless, but an early kick off on New Years Day means I'll give it a miss and go out with the wife and get trashed all night long for New Year and probably still be in bed when they kick off.
