Not having the benefit of being in the changing rooms before the game I have no idea what Danny Wilson told the lads before they went out onto the pitch. So I'll do some presuming!

It was clear to see last night that our players can become a little lazy when Ritchie Barker is playing, he's the obvious out ball for the entire back four, send it up to barker and he'll try his best to bring it down or flick it on. God help him he's a battler and gives his all, but surely he can't enjoy being clattered by central defenders all game.

Last night the out ball was down the wings, that's what we do best, whilst Monky didn't have his greatest game he always looks comfortable with the ball at his feet. Browny was superb again. Garry Liddle was given the role he's comfortable with whilst Tony Sweeney bombed on.

Even Godwin lifted his game! Jan Budtz was off his line for their goal and Sweeney tore a strip off him, but boy did he redeem himself with some brilliant saves. Eddie Nolan looked a class act, that run in the second half was lung bursting.

Credit must go to Tranmere as well, comfortably the most danagerous side we've faced at the vic this season, thankfully Zola couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. McLaren looked a very tidy player.

All in all a VERY ENJOYABLE GAME, not been able to say that for months.
