File editing sites

I got myself a new phone today and I was wondering if there are any sites which I can use to edit some of the music files on my PC so I could then use them as ringtones/message alert tones

Does that make sense, I hope so because I am a bit pissed like

I got a disc with my Sony Ericcson that does all that, presumably there's software for your phone as well??

Yeah I got a disc with it but I am just wanting to put on parts of songs and not whole ones.
