I would sell Barker in January back to Mansfield.
He is NOT good enough for League One.

bollocks will I. I've seen six consecutive SHITE performances at home and I've just phoned two lads at the match, who said they can't believe how bad we were.....and they said Barker shouldn't play again this season after today...

He did a job, last season.
He brought in Barker, Boland and Monkhouse, who were instrumental in getting us promoted.
Unfortunately, two of them are not good enough for League One.
The players he brought in 'to strenghten the squad' i.e Moore, Elliott etc, have not been up to it.

He needs to go, before he takes us back to League Two

i think mr wilson is only showing his true form here
either that or there is another mafia problem in the dressing room
but this time the mafia is not the old guard
he seems to have problems with one or two of our better players
which bodes very bad indeed for us

one or two comments made in the chat room today has got me concerned about unrest within the club. It seems to run deep as well. Certain alleged comments made by C.T. about the abilities of some of DW's signings, for instance.

I can see the comparisons between this season and two seasons ago. But I can also see the differences.
And remember we are talking about the manager who last season beat nearly every record in the Pools book.

Is Wilson really daft/stubborn enough to think that justifying his player acquisitions is more important than keeping us in a decent league position?

Maybe there's more to the present mini-crisis than meets the eye.
I remember only too well what happens when you leave it too late to act, but all in all I don't think I'm at the Wilson Out stage yet.

Did I say promotion was a formality?? I really don't think I did seeing as I never believed that. I did however say that I am uninterested in the Johnsons Paint Pot crumb from the big table and I'll stand by that. The FA Cup?? Could be worse, could have been Tamworth. We lost at Hereford last season, we lost at Hereford this season. And??

See we'll have to agree to disagree here because we're verging on the old 'hidden agenda' argument again. I don't believe there is one. I think the team is in a poor run of form and I believe they'll turn it round. I don't however think they'll do it on your terms. I think they'll sort it out for themselves and I don't think they'll sort it out by booting the manager out.

When people say 'ask MK Dons and Bristol City' they seemingly forget that Danny Wilson left Bristol City because they got beat at Cardiff in the play off final and his arm was up his back at MK Dons because Winkelman spent all the money on yet another oversized stadium. If he took us to Cardiff again would you want him booted out?? Do you really think he picks players just because he likes them and doesn't just because they're popular? Do you think he does that despite losing games?? Surely he'd be in a backwards jacket in a padded cell somewhere and the key would be Uncle Kens desk drawer.

No-one is more frustrated than me at the current run of form but haven't we all seen it before?? Tip: Pop your Into The Millenium DVD in and sit back for an hour.
For part of that season we were abominable, hopefully we're coming to the end of a repeat of that. No-one seems to disagree that we have the players to do it. To suggest that they simply don't want to was one of your favourite arguments pro-Joel Porter earlier this year. I never disagreed with that, you simply don't make it as a professional with that attitude as Kolley very informatively explained.

It'll pass and it'll pass fairly soon. I really can't imagine that anyone in the club is happier than you about it.
