Mickey Fisher is one of the town's less well known characters, which is a shame cos he is a really nice bloke. He used to play footy on the rec all the time (probably still does), and is one of those gadgies who can't stop running. He used to get everywhere on the pitch, full of enthusiasm and energy.

I don't know about the socks thing, although I can imagine him doing it for a bet or something.
