Roy Keane was famous for his passion and commitment on the pitch. I don't recall him being associted with a wild lifestyle off the pitch, he was a very private person and the wildest thing I recall him being seen doing was walking his dog.

If I was in the trenches I'd want someone like that next to me...i think you confuse arrogance with self belief and determination...it's called a winners attitude, that he confines to football. Wouldn't you just love someone like that at the Vic?

Attempting to break someone's leg could be said to be a bit wild?
Agree he has many attributes, but his apparent belief that he's a law unto himself is a bit worrying, and it means he shouldn't really comment on other people's ethics (even where he's right)

Well, they're the same thing. Otherwise, I'd have said, 'his belief'.
