HOWEVER, if the point you're saying is that you don't follow the BNP but you're agreeing with the problems they raise, then they tend to state the obvious by making it ten times worse. If NOT, then I worry for this country if people will so easily be sucked in to voting for them.

at the last euro elections 5% of devon voted BNP which is about 25,000 I think.there isn't a massive immigration problem here so the vote was pushed on the back of leaflets playing on the fears of middle England,no facts no face to face no debate.

I know a guy who, incidentally, serves a very good pint of real ale (not Al Murray) and who is a BNP member. He's a bit stroppy, lots of tattoo's but intelligent and can string a word or two together.

He was quite convincing when he said there's nothing wrong with being proud of being English. Trouble is he thinks he should have the right to decide who is English and who isn't and how those he doesn't consider to be English should be dealt with. All part of being proud.

Politicians generally have these sorted out arguments to wrong foot the average interested observer but those in the BNP are a bit sinister.

Hope this is related to Mouldys real name and not my user name initials. Because there is no way that I would ever want to be associated with the dangerous rantings of the BNP.

A quick look on the BNP website shows that they will half council tax, raise the income tax threshold to 15k per year, deport all illegal immigrants, make prisoners serve their full sentence, put police back on the street, have more doctors and nurses and invest money in the NHS.
