A good turn out in cold, wet and windy conditions on a very difficult muddy and hilly course
and a very pleasing performance from yours truly getting around in 38:49 and was delighted
to be 6th counter for my club, Crook AC

After rushing back home for a quick shower and change I made it just in time for kick off
at The Vic!

On seeing that peformance today it got me thinking..... I wonder how many of those so called professional
footballers/"athletes" could manage what I did today? How many on that pitch could run around a 6 mile 3 lap,
hilly, glue pot of a course in 38 minutes?
