agree with most of that, however I remember Mr Codyakker previously having serious doubts about Foley, and now I agree with him. Running very fast with the ball is not the same as doing something with the ball - how many times does he get it simply nicked off his foot? He has no tricks or skill with his speed. Watch him again and you'll see I'm right.
His shooting - well, I'm better at shooting. 95% of his shots are woeful, and for a pro player one good game against Scunthorpe three months ago isn't good enough frankly.

Excellent post, reminiscent of another missing member, called ADG

What can you say.

Could someone explain to me, why OUR players kept slipping over. There was one passage of play where three players slipped over in about 10 seconds……all pools players. It was comedy football of the worst kind.

In that spell, Michael Nelson played arguably the worst I have seen a central defender play since Scott Walker. What the fook was up with him?

I reckon it was down to the boots they were wearing, I noticed that Nelson had a pair of moulded studs type of boots on, which I always thought were for when the ground was hard, I hope Chip can let me know if this is correct seeing as he has himself played at a reasonable level. Surely after the 1st half downpour they should have realised that it was getting greasy so a longer stud would be required. There was one point in the 2nd half when Nelson seemed to be tip toeing, in fear of falling down again, into the corner for the ball which he should have made his easily.
