I’m not going to say anything radical here but our priority should be to win our next home match.

I wasn’t here today; I’ve got flu so I can’t comment on the performance.

But what I will say is…Victoria Park is being raided and is no longer a fortress. It is a piss take.

When we lost away…we used to be able to say “wait to we get them at the Vic”. That is no longer the case; it’s more of a case of “I’m dreading when we play them at home”.

thats because when you play at home the onus is on you to break the opposition down. you wont do that playing long balls to a one dimensional target man, its too easy to defend against.

ffs lets get liddle back to an attacking midfield role, lets get monkhouse on the left and foley on the right, lets get porter and brownie up front, pass the ball into feet, play with a bit of pace and a bit of flair. lets get mckay on for the last half an hour, lets see what the opposition are like when we run at them from all angles.

lets fook wilson and butterwoth off, lets bring cooper back with stevo as his assistant. lets reduce the price of the chips and give free season tickets to everyone named fireball...

sorry, got a bit carried away.

Just a bit

Agree with the sentiments though

it has to be worth a try though surely ??? just as a one off, saying okay we are at home, we are gonna play all our most skillful, quick, exciting players and we are gonna throw everything but the kitchen sink at you, and if you score 3 we will score 4. or maybe even 8. we are going to play fast free flowing attacking football, on the deck on a great pitch and lets see if you can stop us.

or alternatively we can continue passing the ball side to side for 5 minutes and then hump it into the box aimlessly a bit too close to their keeper.

and hope to win a corner.

which we wont score from.

Unfortunately all of that is SO true

As someone has already said.... Unfortunatley that is so true :uhoh:
Was the last time we scored from a corner at the Vic, Antwi on the first home game of the season? The corner was great, Something a bit different! I think if we do things a bit different on both free kicks and corners we may get somewhere, The lay it off to Humph to hit trick is getting a bit dull! There was a Conference side in the FA Cup on Saturday, Played a cracking corner and scored from it! Surely we can try that...
