I went downtown in Leicester last night with her, there was a festival down Melton Road followed by yet more fireworks. I had to smile at the reaction of some of you lot had you accompanied me as I walked down Belgrave, one of the very few white faces amongst tens of thousands of ramjams.

As we left, some kids were letting off fireworks on a piece of scrub land, one of the fireworks, a rocket, fell over an flew towards us. Dev was in front of me and seen it first and ducked, I just caught sight of it at the last second as it flew literally inches past my face. Ban these fecking things now, I was almost blinded.
