Hello people of Hartlepool. I am a Lincoln City fan and I am going to come and watch you take on Gainsborough Trinity on Sunday. I am looking forward to a good game, because my team are pathetic this season haha.
Anyway, if any of you are really into your beers or ale like Camerons, there is a pub in Gainsborough just behind the Syern Forkbeard (wetherspoons) called the Eight Jolly Brewers. It is a hidden gem for beer drinkers. Its a quiet drinkers pub with 8-9 microbrewers from Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and other counties. I am going to be in there at 12pm for a few before the game.
If you fancy something closer to the ground, try Elm Cottage. It is nowhere near as good but has 2 cask beers on all the time. This is just behind the stand your fans are going in.
There are so bars in the town centre too but I don`t go in them, only the Wetherspoons if I am hungry.
Anyway, hope you enjoy your trip to Gainsborough and have a safe journey

I'm definitely having no luck with all these Lincolnshire ties we're playing.
I was in Gainsborough the week before we played Scunthorpe and now I'm going to be in North Lincs the week AFTER we play Gainsborough. sadx sadx

I'd have gone to Sunday's match but the pillocks at Ryanair have reduced flights from here to three days a week and Sunday ain't one of them. I can't travel till Monday.

Anyway thanks for the tips Mr Imp.

Gainsborough isn`t a very nice place but its a lot better than Scumthorpe and Grimsby! I have never been up to Victoria Park and I was crossing my fingers we`d go up and play you next season. Its looking like York City and other non league next year !

Where does Mrs Stelling's lad live at the moment. Better not tell him that. It'll start another rant.

well just enjoy yourself on the day out. I love going on footy away days. Trinity do good food and try get in the Blues club and get chatting away to some random who probably has only come once a season ! I do try to get to as many Trin games as possible. Why did I buy a City season ticket ! Waste of money
