Don't know if you knew him but Rick Jolly is looking like he's going to join the ranks of God's Commando Brigade. I've just had an email from an old oppo, he's in intensive care after a stomach operation and its looking bad.

For those who are interested, Rick was the commander of the Falklands field hospital, otherwise known as the 'Red and Green life machine' amazingly, he never lost a patient from either side. The mans a hero and a legend.

Thanks for the info John, yes I met Rick many times but never for more than a few mins. A true gent and as you point out a legend, the bloke never slept for the whole of the war.

Ricks a fighter and if anyone can overcome his operation he will, my thoughts are with him.
