Yes.

You are a miserable cnt.

But seeing as though there is never any singing from the Clarence Road Stand anyway then what difference does it make to you?

True true.

But I only asked the question because I know some bunker members at the match on saturday refused to sing it.

See.............there is always a reason Rip.

I've sang it already this season and defy anybody to give me a good reason as to why they wouldn't.

I don't think it was baffling. I think he tried to keep his options open when Ben Clark was injured by dropping Robson back to defence and bringing on a replacement winger and a forward. It clearly didn't work but I think there was some logic in it.

ANY form of encouragement is good for the team -- players, manager, assistant, and even kit man included.

There's really nothing else to be said.

Yes yes, waiting thirty games until things have gone to the dogs before giving your support is a sure fire route to success!

When the fans get on a manager's back it's just like getting on a player's back. He finishes up not knowing what to do for the best.

It certainly wouldn't have done any harm. Whichever way you play it, as Monty says: Encouragement can only do good, slagging someone off is not a recommended motivation technique.

The point is, whether you like him or not, or whether he convinces you or not, he is the man in the job. Sitting there in stony silence while all around you sing isn't going to make a gnat's of a difference is it?? The players still have to play for him and everyone knows that there's no bigger kick up the arse than getting dropped.

I mean, are you convinced that Hitler was a bad man yet or are you still on the fence until the definitive Auschwitz figures come in??

Just out of interest though..........do you all think it would have given Joel a lift during the shrewsbury game, if we had started singing Danny Wilsons Blue and white army whilst he was warming up during the first half?

What the fook does it matter? The team is being encouraged and once he runs on the pitch the Danny Wilson's Blue & White Army chant will be for him too. He should be champing at the bit for the chance to run into such an atmosphere.

I have to say as far as devil's advocates go I've seen better!

Everyone likes Joel Porter and I'm sure he is aware of that. Or else he's deaf, remember his comeback last season when he came on scored in five minutes. He said the reception made the hairs on his neck stand up.

I'm sure he knows that the team and the club will get supported whether he starts the game or not.

You'd send him out on sticks, you would......

Well that's why Danny Wilson is the manager and you're a curmudgeonly old twister.
