Hopefully that should be straight forward enough. *Touches Wood*

Wouldn't surprise me if that gets us on TV too.

Dunno last time where on in the fa cup i think we won... sctatchinghead sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

We did, 1-0 at Burton. Joel Porter's first goal for Pools.

I remember watching that on the Sunday afternoon - they put Eastenders back just for us.

Went beserk when Porter scored.

Also remember Pools singing the theme tune to MOTD and "We're gonna win on the telly" when we led !

I don't think that not long after that Cloughie died as well.

I can hereby claim the rights to creating that song, "We're gonna win on the telly."
Anyone else who says they made it up are liars. I had it in my head to sing it the day before the match, bearing in mind our awful playing record on live tv.
I started it off at the left handside of the terrace, but everyone else was too busy singiong existing chants, soI bided my time until it went quiet, so people could hear it, and hopefully join in - as it did, and spread throughtout the land!!!!

When the Burton v Pools cup tie was on TV a guy from the electric called half an hour before hand to change our meter to a digital one. He was from Stockton and was unaware of the game being on TV. He did mine in time but he said he had 4 more to do in the town.

I bet he was popular
