Depends which cost you want

But why not throw the question of what a billion is open to the floor for clarification...

That cable needs reeling away. Slip/trip/fall hazard if ever I've seen one.

It'll be nice when it's finished........

However unless the mighty 'Pool are playing there, you could strip Kylie naked and leave her in the centre circle and I still wouldn't go anywhere near it.

It's a piece of Australo/Kraut shit to feed the ego's at Soho Square and I will not line their pockets so they can redistribute my money to the likes of Brian Bastad ((c)ADG) Barwick and his ilk. It should be in Birmingham. Full stop.

It's not a patch on Victoria Park and there will be no atmosphere when there's only 2000 for a wet midweek game.
Sorry, my mistake - I thought it was another new Darlo stadium.

I don't know if you've seen the relative sizes of the old and new, but it goes a long way to answering your question.

Part of the Wembly magic was those 100,000 crowds. The old Wembley redeveloped couldn't fit in even half of that.

They've thrown the baby out with the bathwater. Wembley was legendary. The new one is tidy in its own right but tearing down the old one is unforgivable.

The pictuers do make it look great and it looks more or less ready for action. But when will it be ready?

Surely they could have kept the Twin Towers and built around them or somehow incorporated them into the new stadium!!!!

:? :? :?

Plus....wouldn't the Towers have been listed???? :?
How come they knocked them down???? :?
The main stand at Highbury is listed and they are keeping that!!!! :?

It was a piss hole. Shit seats, crap facilities and the piss flowed down the isles. Why can't we, as a nation, embrace progress? We're always looking back.

Wembley was crap the last time I was there, and that was in 1973.
