I thought we played some excellent football for short periods. had a more adventurous formation, and with a tiny bit more luck we could have tonked them.

You lost to our reserve side.We were missing quite a few players.We should of buried this game earlier with our finishing on the counter.Oh well.It sounded like a good game on the radio and we were desperate for the 3pts for our playoff ambition.

Also agree with the above about Brighton players absolute blastt

Pity Barker did not put the fight in during the game as he did after the final whistle.

Totally cheesed off tonight with that display. With what has happened i thought every player

Brighton had a game plan, it was a very cruel game plan.

The players were understandably emotional, they used this to their advantage e.g. Boland was given loads of abuse throughout the match and kicked before he reacted and was correctly sent off.

I hope Hartlepool never fall so low.

er, yeah...lack of class!! I'm not talking about our players being shite, cos I really dont think I could've played a game of footy to my full potential after a week like that, in fact I know I couldn't....gadgie died at Saltburn 5-a-side a year ago heart attack right after he played. we played their team the week after and it was awful, none of the lads on either team played well (certainly not to a reasonable level), but I tell you summat we didn't take the piss outta them or try and upset them to win a football match :evil:

as is kissing an armband in honour of one of OUR players right in the face of another of our players

lack of class is exactly what it is

it was a disgrace the way they tauted our players at the end
but that is football now win at all cost even if you have to cheat
probably that is why so many of our players took exception to it and it kicked off in the tunnel
the ref was on the pitch still so dont know the out come
