I've just got back from taking the dog for a walk and whilst walking past a bungalow round the back from us I saw someone knocking on one of the doors which I thought was strange at 12am!!!! confised

I approached the Bungalow and realised I knew the person....it was a 30 something well known smack rat lass!!!!

This is how the conversation went....

Me - Alright ........, what are you doing knocking on pensioners doors at midnight????

Her - I know him I've even got keys.

Me - Well why don't you use the keys????

Her - Just feck-off!!!!

Me - No I'll wait to make sure everything's ok.

Her - I know him!!!!

Me - You said that already but I'd rather wait.

She then gave me a look up and down as if I was something she'd stood in!!!!

Me - You obviously haven't seen a mirror for awhile!!!!

This conversation went on along them lines for a couple of minutes and then the door opened!!!!

It was a pensioner in a wheelchair!!!! confised

Me - Are you ok mate....do you know this person????

Him - Yeah I'm ok I know her.

Me - Ok but are you sure everything is alright????

Him - Yeah everything's alright.

Me - Ok then I'll leave you to it but I just thought it was a bit strange someone knocking on your door at this time of night so I wanted to make sure everything was ok.

Him - Yeah I'm ok but thanks for asking.

And that was it!!!!

Now I know what's going on....she was/is well known for hanging about Church Street on a weekend doing favours for a couple of quid etc....but should I let someone know what's going on here???? confised confised

I'm sure I'd want to know if one of my old aged relatives was getting 'visits' by smackheads!!!!

Plus there was a story in The Mail not so long ago about this sort of thing where the smackhead accused the pensioner of rape!!!! confised

So what do I do and who do I see or do I just let the old man have a bit of fun in his last days????

But if I do that and I find out something has happened or he'd been robbed etc I wouldn't be able to forgive myself!!!! confised confised confised

There\s very little you can do. You asked the bloke if he was ok and he said yes, she was invited into his home. You are only speculating about what they are getting upto although you are probably right.

Why don't you visit the bloke tomorrow and explain your concerns to him......? You never know he might be her grandad.....

If all she is doing is giving him a nosh for 20quid is there any real harm?

I suppose it depends on how much you know this lass and what you know about her background. If you think the bloke is in danger then you should do something.....

Whereabouts in Church Street does she hang about?
