Like I did, but now I cant get my Dad off the thing!

Love Macs mind you, runs very smooth, no hiccups or incidents like the dreaded blue screen I got on my PC.

Plus it all looks rather sleek as well, both the physical computer itself and the OS.

Aye - if you don't mind/actually enjoy installing software and making things work - No if you don't give a stuff and just want to switch on your computer and go.

When it first came out it was the preserve of the sort of sandal-wearing, beardy techies that any self-respecting slacker techie would cross the street to avoid - but it's actually become a proper piece of kit which has replaced unix as the OS of choice on all our "big" servers.

Must admit I'm firmly in the "don't give a stuff and just want to switch on your computer and go" camp, but there are people at work who use Linux for their PCs and have happily installed browsers and printers with no problems at all.
