Are they a fkin nuisance or what?

Not all of them, just the ones that are overgrown into footpaths and could have your eye out.

I walked from our house to the No Rarfs Arms last weekend and nearly all of the way there you are having to dodge overgrown vegetation causing a bother on the footpath.

Half of it is from private houses but half of it is overgrown council stuff.

Who's responsibility is it to keep it trimmed, and if I decided to walk into it who could I put a claim in against?

Years ago when I lived in Hull I saw two blind brothers walk into an untrimmed hedge (I was too far away to tell em they were about to get assaulted by a privet). They went mental and started tearing the hedge down before marching up to the house door and demanding that the hedge owner come out and fight em.
