Hang on a minute, I've just been on wikipedia and that's the same article almost:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parmo

I found a recipe on BBC Tees but it doesn't say how long you grill the chicken for:

30 seconds each side under a hot heat and you'll be fine.

Do you grill it before you add the cheese, if so how long, or do you grill the chicken separately ?

Grill before putting the cheese on, then give it another half a minute with the cheese on.

Kentish, if you cook chicken 30 seconds each side then you are going to hospital. Chicken ALWAYS needs cooking thoroughly.

Parmo eats putty, on his own admission. There are no obvious sauces or side dishes available for putty

Try him in a stew with a nice chianti (several sharp intakes of breath through teeth)

Thanks Mr I, though I knew already it wouldn't be for 30 seconds each side.

How long do you cook it for each side ?
