No wonder he got a job in Brown's government, look at his voting record, with the government every time apart from three and even then he voted for the government in the substantive motion.

Incidentally, I wonder how Mr Wright can continue to be part of a government which lied directly to him and to the people of Hartlepool when both Tony Blair and the then Health Secretary John Reid gave direct assurances that the hospital in Hartlepool would definitely not be closing.

The bloke has no scruples or integrity whatsoever. He should have resign his position in protest instead of making a massive U turn by asking if we could instead have a bus to Stockton Hospital occasiionally.
