i take it you got them for free cos i cant see anyone of sound mind actually paying to watch the miami dolphins.

in fact if you turn up early you may get a game in their secondary.

they have already asked me but im busy that weekend.
sell out chip the ticket's are harder to get hold of than rugby final ticket's.
and i'm fat enough to play.

No American Football is worth watching.

It's lower down the scale than Birds Footie as a spectator sport.

well anyone watching the dolphins godawful "performance" on sunday night might want their money back.

the giants were little better last night in dispensing with the truly abysmal falcons. eli manning cant throw the ball more than 20 yards without being intercepted. that said the dolphins defensive line is so pissweak all the giants have to do is run the ball to gain a comprehensive but unspectacular win.

shame they couldnt have fetched new england over. that would have been worth watching.

Chip after reading that I'm assuming you have played poofs Rugby at a reasonable level?

If not, I totally disregard your opinion.

The only AF match I can ever remember really enjoying for the whole 60 minutes was the "Riggins" superbowl final.
Probably because of the same grunt factor that is making me enjoy England's current run of RWC wins. No flash moves just a dogged determination to keep battling forward.

I watched this year's superbowl, the first I've seen for quite a few years, and found myself pretty much underwhelmed by it all.

I bet no one would dare call John Riggins a poof to his face. There again, being a yank he wouldn't know what it meant. confised

If like me you'd played rugby at a very respectable level you wouldn't say that :sweeeet:

Well I did specify at a respectable level. We kept our wingers well supplied and dug them out when they ran into holes.

But why did you play it for 5 years *on saturdays* if you hated it so much? I can understand on schooldays when you don't have the choice ... but in your own time?? confised

For the record I do like both rugby codes and most of the variants like Aussie rules and gridiron and would never diss them in a generalising way. I've seen as many underwhelming footy games as I have rugby league/union/American football games.

just to add another thing when i was a bit licked at the match i had a coversation with the yank next to me about rugby he seemed to think that we were all nutters for playing it and was asstounded that more men arnt killed.

just to add dont you think being a kicker for the NFL if the easiest money going i bet mr wilkinson or even a top quality footballer could do that job

I think punter in the special team is prolly the easiest. They pass you the ball and you welly the fook in out of it. Job done till your team score again.
