As you should know, most of the Gladiators series got axed. However, American and Australian Gladiators are coming back.

They're considering using Birmingham as the venue of International Gladiators, if this is a success UK Gladiators could come back.

Me being a big fan of Gladiators I know that some may return and some may not return.

Hunter: He lives in York and is very skinny nowadays.
Cobra: Yes, he's in tip top condition and still works out.
Jet: She is now a shrink but still keeps fit.
Lightening: Owns a bar in Spain, not sure what condition she is in.
Rhino: Is still as massive as ever.
Wolf: Owns a gym in New Zealand.
Warrior: In prison last I heard.
Blaze (Eunice): Is a stunt double often for boys in popular films.

What worries me if a UK version is made, I can imagine myself being let down by them. Who can be as scary as Shadow, as big as Rhino, as attractive as Jet etc?

Will it be a good idea?

It would be a fantastic idea - but I see your point. Nothing could be as scary as looking into Shadow's eyes before Dual commences, No one would be as hard to get around as rhino when running the gauntlet. And could any chick be as graceful yet effective as Lightening on Hangin Tough (those ring things). I always fancied a try on the hamster balls and the eliminater looked good fun.

Will ther ever be anyone like Wesley '2 scoops' who could jump over a car, Eunice Huthart kicked the arse of the whole world and how annoying was John Fashanu......?

Jet rocked my world.

Zodiac was the blonde wasn't she.

I remember getting a Shadow birthday card with a badge. In my defence, I was 21.

Zodiac was the blond, the one with straight hair, she was a bit flat chested for my liking but you can't have it all...

Let's put it this way...Zodiac wasn't as flexible as Jet who could put her leg behind her ear. Oh...the things you can do.

I'd watch yourself Bresslay. Don't get on the wrong side of him...he's involved in some dangerous gangs.

They'd give the Humphreys and Barron mafia a run for their money.

Her father is Jack Youdal. He makes regular appearances on Radio Borer, whenever there is a astrology story in the news. He is involved with the Observatory 'thingy' up at Thorpe Thewles Station House.

there is a huge lowest common denominator out there though John. I can't believe the number of quiz channels there are late at night, with such things as wordsearch for the brain-dead, and prizes for guessing it. The presenter bangs on and on about what the word could be, giving clues etc until some muppet finally rings up.
"This is a tricky one, you might want to put these on before you go out, when you're getting dressed"

Here are the letters: T-O-U-R-S-E-R-S

I stopped pillow fighting with my sister after I knocked her over, and she fell towards a open coal fire, and burnt her forearm on the red hot coals! She still doesn't speak to me. :uhoh: rolfl

They're a con are them they never let you get through.

I remember when the question was "name a fruit" they gave a clue "it's also the name of a colour"...there was a half an hour wait before they let someone answer...and when they did they said "yellow". rolfl (the correct answer was not actually orange it was olive).

Isn't Rhino the big black fella who was blatantly on steroids?

Most of them were all former athletes (Nightshade in the Commonwealth games, Amazon was Sharron Davies, Rebel was a runner) - so what chance Kelly Holmes and Seb Coe doing this series? sctatchinghead

Yes this is Rhino nowadays...

Shadow was the one who took steriods, from Series 3 onwards they were all tested for steriods and had to come off them, which is why a lot of the Gladiators lost weight.
