Foley suits wide left and oppose to right as he is best coming inside to shoot with his right, afterall Foleys best two assets are his finishing and pace.

Im sorry right but you lot complain when Clark and Porter arent in. Which they should be so thats fair.
I mean yeah McCunnie should be playing but for gods sake we won the match, we kept a clean sheet. Clark AND Porter started.

But why Foley though when Monkhouse, the natural left winger, was on the bench, I think that is what the disguise fellow is stpid about

Jesus, simply because they were leaving 2 at the back and when were clearing the balls as they pile on the pressure, would your rather have Monkhouse or Foley chasing or running with the ball?

You are spot on Tree, it was a ploy to catch them on the break with his pace and Foley should have wrapped the game up if you remember when he was clean through but his second touch was poor and it ran through to the keeper.

Wilsons change were to combat Brizzles direct style of play, McCunnie would have had no chance in the air against the left winger Haldine he was about 6'2" Coles won every header. We kept our second clean sheet in 14 games Ben Clark and Joel Porter started yet people STILL moan about team selection sctatchinghead

Maybe leave Porter to chase the punts. Monkhouse is much better at holding the ball up, I would much rather have him rather than Foley with the ball in the corner for the last however many minutes

Whenever we are in a position (leading or drawing) where we don't want the opponents to score, I reckon Foley is the best option. His pace scares the shit out of the other team, and whenever he gets a run on goal he always looks likely to create something.

It's strange to think he's never scored a league goal considering the amount of times he's been brought on and been very threatening. I thought this might be his season, but with all the competition he may have to wait longer.
