Anyone watching it? If so, someone please tell me what that 'mens dance' had to do with Merengue? They labelled it Merengue but apart from one move by the pro couple it was nothing of the sort. Incidentally, Bruce Forsyth was way out, it is not from Domican, he's confusing it with Bachata.

I tend to agree with Louise. I thought the men were poor in comparison to the top 4 women dancers.

I hope Anton doesn't go though. I think the show is better with him in it.

Well, we women like to do our bit to advance civilisation. If a lifetime's verbal abuse achieves even a 1% improvement in male behaviour, then by God it's worth it

But how can you ever measure it. And who do you use as the example?[/quote]

Well, it heartens me that you've asked that question, Mr Disguise. I'm not sure I could measure it, but I would just know :sweeeet:
And I'd say perhaps a cross between Jonny Wilkinson and Leonard Cohen

for example this is one song of bachata followed by one of merengue. They're not fantastic but you get the idea. Those lot on SCC the other night were doing something way way different. And don't give me the 'they only had a week to learn line' Merengue is the easiest dance in the world to learn.

This is silly.

Men are just not manly when they dance.

Stop it.

Some might say the best dance in the world will be the one done upon Margot Thatcher’s grave, I couldn’t possibly comment though!
