Funnily enough there was a court case last week in the Mail of a woman urinating in the street. Now I don’t approve, but the fines she had to pay were mind popping running into hundreds of pounds….and what exactly are the ‘victim surcharges’ they slap on, who was the victim…. sctatchinghead

I gather that the victim surcharge goes into a fund to pay compensation to victims of crime. So for example if some old codger gets beaten up and robbed by some penniless drug addict, they would get paid compensation from the money charged to those who had committed other crimes. Of course the penniless drug addict pays nowt to no one.

Welcome back Ozzy you have been missed mate. A few of us me Snowy naming just two pm you but never opened. Anyway great to see you back. clappp clappp clappp

But shouldn’t a surcharge really cover any costs or compensation the victim suffers…….you see people fined for dropping a fag end…ok fine them, but…..who is the victim to justify giving them a victim surcharge.

Get an account with a free overdraft, keep the overdraft below that level, no point having money in a bank current account paying zero interest.

But if we didn't have interest at all, the world would be a much better (and fairer) place.

You can blame stock market "crashes" and owt else financial you like on Trump, or whoever else you want to blame, the fact is that every single one of them is simply down to greed and the bent nature of our money system.

Any other reason given is absolute horseshit.

O.L.D. Head again Snowy, I’ll remind you,
Common symptoms include an inability to tolerate time apart, obsessive fantasies, excessive time spent seeking information about the person, and potentially delusional jealousy.

But he doesn't believe your replies Jamie. He has regularly called you out as a liar, and offered proof (which I am more than satisfied with) that you are indeed Richard Nixon and Pinocchio's love child.

As for naïvety, you probably thought that was an annual infant-school theatre production until you moved to Ladyboyland - and finally twigged that all them hot "lasses" offering to "love you long time" had ten-inch cocks and bollocks like coconuts.

We're all laughing at you James, not with you...

I think Jamie probably struggles with confidence and feels the need to constantly lie to appear relevant in life. I feel he lives his life as a Walter Mitty type character who appears unable to tell the truth even when caught with his pants down. Its simply not in this mans DNA and that wont change anytime soon. Maybe the reason he left Hartlepool in the first place is due to people calling out his constant bullshit. At least he can stay in Thailand for the foreseeable future before once again needing to run away and restart again.

As I said Leggie you don’t realise how many times I take the pi** out you, your so naive, it’s beyond belief, I throw a bit of bait in and you latch on to it,I think some of the others are as well.Bearing in mind I would like to know what my daily lies are, your so naive tried once to disprove me but failed miserably and gave up in the end after trolling through my time on The Bunker long before you ever joined, you might still have been in your nappies then or might still be now you silly sausage.

Ah Leggie has recruited another ally, that’s 2 now, you and Snowy, where has he proved I was a liar and what about ?
Your last comment sums you up, thick comes to mind, making comments about a place you have never been too.

As you keep slagging our town off so boldly, do the good people of Thailand ever ask you if Hartlepool’s that bad why go back every other Wedenesday …?

Wrong Snowy I slag the grot spots off in the town not the whole town, it has some great places, I would not slag the people off as they are one of the most friendliest welcoming people you could ever meet.
My partner has been there 4 times once for 15 months due to Covid, she was racially abused on a few occasions when she was out shopping on her own people calling her or asking her if she was a ‘chinky’ and constantly staring at her not sure why as Hartlepool has a few Thai residents.
BTW the people of Thailand have no idea where my ‘village’ of Hartlepool is, tbh they are not interested where I come from, Thais are very non judgmental never criticising or making comments about anything or anybody.
You didn’t read my post, I go back because I have family in Hartlepool.

The chavs on electric bikes were in form this week doing wheelies down York Road, ignoring traffic lights and going around a roundabout the wrong way causing chaos

There was five of them, no helmets all in dirty black ‘clothes’ and ski masks….and the last bike had three on it two of them being lasses clinging on.
These bikes have allowed them to be a nuisance everywhere in stead just at their local shopping parade , progress eh

for once i,ll blame the availability of the bikes rather than those who ride them. once around you know whats going to happen. same with those scooters on pavements. the main thing is there lack of noise unlike petrol driven equivelants and still feel there would have been a quicker clampdown without the electric element on them all.
