Seen captain Phillips and really enjoyed it and ive watched 12 years a slave and thought it was a fantastic film

Yeh, like the way it gives Nixon some depth as oppose to just showing him as some 2 dimensional villain

I liked Capt Phillips, too, even though I don't usually like "action" films.

Yesterday I saw Inside Llewyn Davis. I probably like it better now, thinking about it, than I did at the time. Bit of a weird film in the sense that it's supposed to be 'about' the American folk world in the very early Dylan era but, you'd guess, isn't authentic in that respect at all. At least, if it is, it must have been VERY different from the English scene. Some great scenes and settings, though, and lovely songs.

No waterboarding, so that was a relief.

got to see that. Anything that upsets the yanks and their crank religious views is 10 out of 10 for me.

Just finished watching 'Springsteen and I'....really enjoyed it!!!!

Basically just fans from around the World saying why they like him plus concert footage!!!!
Still not fussed on his Watered Down Country/Rock but he seems like a decent bloke....loved it when he started 'playing' with a Busker in the street for nearly an hour....or was it 15 minutes????

8/10!!!!

Produced/Directed by Ridley Scott aswell!!!!

Gonna watch 'Religulous' again now just so I can have a good laugh!!!!

I like the part where he is interviewing a guy who is a "former" gay who is married to a £former" lesbian and has since found the church and now is converted. Bill Maher makes him look like a dick and he is camp as christmas. For bigger picture on this is a documentary called for the bible tells me so http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_the_Bible_Tells_Me_So shows how mad some of the Christians are.

Another great quote from it is "It's like the lotto. "You can't get saved if you don't play."

Right at the end when he is getting introduced on the talk show the bloke who is welcoming him on stage is the actual fella who the film is about

If so I thought Woody Harrelson played a good part but i thought the film was slow and was waiting for something to happen all the time

Yes, wasn't a massive fan to begin with but watched a few episodes in a row and was hooked, definitely a little different to most of the stuff that is out there

Just finished watching the 1st series of the Bridge. Thought it was excellent, although surprised to see Neil Ruddock playing one of the lead cops, didn't know he could speak Danish.
Up to episode 4 of True Detective, also excellent.

Yeah the foreign version is well worth watching although I've heard the American one is pretty close to it.
