Like the game, the backing was good at times...Boston did an efficient job of killing the match stone dead with feigned injuries when Pools got on top again after the equaliser. Not much to get excited about when the ref is letting a poor side run down the clock.![]()
Thought we had the winner at the death - nobody could see the handball. Have to look at the highlights.

It happened in the lead up to the equaliser, so what use are the lino's if this is recurring?

We have the defensive foundations but are way short up front
Anyone who can’t see that is kidding themselves

I don't think anyone is kidding themselves. It is painfully obvious that we need re-enforcements and the squad lacks depth but we don't need you to be stating that ad nauseam. Not one person has stated anything like complete satisfaction with the squad as it is. SG recognises that more bodies are needed in certain areas and has said he is looking to remedy the problem. None of us have any idea what his plans are for achieving or who he is trying to get in the door, so why not show a little patience and see what happens eh???????

Grayson doing well with what he has but we either recruit or accept mid table…AGAIN!

Once Saturday is dome thats nearly 20% of the season---I get patience is needed but you dont get more points for a win at the end of the season than the start....

Whereas you see 1-1 draws with Boston and players hitting the bar as a job well done.

I have been reading Snowy's posts for around twenty years and he has never gave me the impression that he sees 1-1 draws with Boston and players hitting the bar as a job well done.
Stop making up silly scenarios to underline or bolster your negative obsessionism and do it now..
I suggest you heed my advice.

Yeah I can do the maths but you want everything to happen like immediately and it doesn't work like that.
Shopping for players isn't like turning up in the market and pointing to what you would like to buy and making an immediate purchase.
Look at the time it took to get the Isaak transfer done. If it wasn't for the time limit of the window it could go on ad infinitum.
SG is saying he is looking to make additions and I have no reason to doubt that. The dust has settled on the transfer mayhem these windows cause and clubs further up the ladder are assessing their squads to see who they would like to get game time out on loan. Hopefully SG has his eye on another Cleary, Kemp or Armstrong. We have to trust the manager and we don't achieve any better results by prophesising continuous doom and gloom to the point of obsession. SG does not wake up every morning searching for your advice and, quite frankly, neither do I. WE can all see where the problems lie without the town crier bleating on incessantly.

I hope you are right that we will strengthen--I get the patience aspect--and I dont have any problem with Grayson--seems smart and practical--but we do need 2-3 players to give Grayson a shot at doing well
