Trump Tells it as it is.

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Nothing to do with the colour of their skin, they are foreign full stop!
I don't identify with them and they certainly don't identify with me!

If you are happy with your country being full of foreigners then that is up to you, I'm not happy about it.
London will be probably around 50% that are foreign born, and that is not counting the ones born there that are foreign!

all you need to do is go into a works canteen where a large number of foreigners work. nobody tells them where to sit but they sit with there own and we sit with our lot. then you have groups in groups where mine used to be football fans and those interested in the union. used to hate having a foreigner as a conductor for a shift or when i was an inspector stuck in a room or van for 8 hours. nothing to talk about but the job and then both trying to understand each others accent you give up in the end feeling knackered.

I work in a job where probably 30% of the people I work with are of South Asian ethnicity. Some were born in Britain as they are 2nd or 3rd generation Britons and some are more recent immigrants. I possibly see the upside of legal immigration in my job which probably colours my view of immigration. If they weren't working here in the UK even more of the roles they do would be done offshore which would mean I wouldn't have the job I have. Far from coming over here stealing my job they are actually allowing the company I work for keeping a presence in the UK rather than moving everything offshore which is probably the cheaper option.

is it that you enjoy them at work or just see em as an economic necessity in your life. suppose both can go hand in hand where you are just tolerant and no more. that was my take on them and never showed favour for one group over another which was not always the case with some inspectors who favoured white british over others and where not afraid to admit it back then.

but have you the answer. do not think anybody actually has even king nige. anybody can say we,ll stop the boats, smash the gangs etc. but as we all know talk is cheap and free. even if we did send the buggers back it would take even more money doing it and going through all the courts to do it. basically we are well and truly shafted and actions should have been taken once the first boat landed.

"they", I think kevin means foreign workers, correct me if I am wrong.

Some white british are lazy, some are very hard workers.

Some fellas I used to work with had an attitude which was the wages were only for turning up, they want me to work I want more. Having the opportunity to work abroad I found some workers had a greater work ethic than others no different from the U.K. you are always going to get the lazy gits, human nature.
I worked with a few scousers over the years who had a reputation re work ethics, I found them to be great lads not afraid of hard work proving you shouldn’t tar every one with the same brush.

I'll be honest I don't have any issues with the people I work with at all no matter what their ethnicity.

The vast majority I consider work colleagues rather than friends but that possibly says more about the people I choose as friends and my social activities than about them. Many of them don't drink which means I'm never going to invite them out for a pint after work.

With the introduction of Trumps new tariffs today he has increased the cost of living for the average American, no more cheap Levi’s or Nike trainers etc. It won’t kick in immediately as suppliers have been stockpiling goods.

And the tariffs will be delayed or cancelled as previously. Haven't you cottoned on yet to the fact that he uses the threat of tariffs to get what he wants, he's pretty predictable now on how he uses tariffs to force countries into agreeing trade deals.

It’s on all the MSM sites, you don’t tell Trump what he wants to hear and you are history,

US President Donald Trump said he would fire the head of the agency charged with publishing some of America's most closely watched economic data, after a weaker-than-expected jobs report stoked further alarm about his tariff policies.
In a post on social media, Trump - without evidence - accused the commissioner, Erika McEntarfer, of manipulating jobs figures for political reasons.
The decision shocked Wall Street and raised alarm about White House interference in economic data.

It came as global stock markets shuddered, after Trump moved forward with plans to sharply raise tariffs on goods around the world. Many forecasters are predicting Trump's tariffs will hurt the economy.
In the US, the three major indexes dropped, with the S&P closing 1.6% lower, following earlier sell-offs in Europe and Asia.

Oh someone with intelligence.
Absolutely, business does not like uncertainty. Tarrifs help nobody and ironically it’s the Americans who will suffer first. Fact, everything Trump does is for himself and his family . The rednecks look up to him like he is the second coming but the guy is manipulative and cunning

Well it won’t bother you over in the Orient.

Ah Snowy you couldn’t wait to get another snidey dig,you never give up, you really do need to get a life, it does affect me and many others as well.

Funny how you go all tetchy at the mildest hint of alternative views…..it’s as though you can’t cope with being challenged.
Like a number of others with the old Trump Derangement Syndrome, a basic form of snobbery…and some misguided thought process that you actually understand the world’s financial markets …oh dear.
Stick to your imitation ‘full English’…never touch them myself…even the proper ones.

Everyone’s an armchair economist nowadays…..who gives a flying fuck.
When people apply their political bias to a problem (of all party’s) you just get a print out of the individuals political prejudice and self serving bias.
No sense, just propaganda.

know sod all about the economy and anything financial used to get my money advice off Bobby Thompson.

The bigger issue for us little people is not Trumps tariffs, it's everyman and his dog ripping us off for everything from basics such as food and water to luxuries like holidays.
We get fleeced on an ever increasing scale in the name of profit, bonuses, and dividends.
Why is it ok for water (the source of life) companies to be constantly raising prices way above the rate of inflation to pay out bonuses and / or dividends?
Why is it ok for car dealers to charge a far higher price for a vehicle in the UK than in other countries even though they're made here? Or for them to charge £25/litre for engine oil at a service, or £200/ hour labour charges for work done?
Why do care homes cost so much when staff are so poorly paid?
Why do food prices at the supermarkets continually rise on a week to week basis?
Why does Council Tax rise every year when services and staffing levels are cut?
It's the cost of, and the reasons for the rip offs on these day to day essentials that most people are concerned rather than how their non-existent stocks and shares portfolios are doing due to Trumps tariffs.

You've told me a hundred times you never look at them.

Do you actually know what MSM is ? It’s the global news, not the Murdoch rags you read or your favourite Farage loving tv channel GB News.

Global news.? Can you be a bit more specific next time..I mean you haven't even thanked Trump for his role in peace talks between Thailand and Cambodia... How many countries have nominated him for the Nobel peace prize now, jamie?

Your level of education is below par, global means relating to the whole world, more to life than living than living in Sussex.
Obviously you didn’t read up on it before you posted, you will find the info on global news channels. The Thais/Cambodians only agreed after Trump said he would cut their tariffs by 50%. It’s been an ongoing dispute been going on for 100 of years and flairs up now and again.

Good post PTID, btw I had my car serviced at the main Ford dealer here, it cost the equivalent of £25 for the engine oil. Labour charge was £14 an hour, average hourly rate is around £1.50 for a Thai, we get ripped of by car dealers no matter where you live.

there is a programme called Rip Off Britain and i,m sure its easy for them to find content for it. prices shot up when the ukraine invasion started for many items, but i,d guess now not all were imported from there. give the buggers a chance and they,ll rob you of your shoes given half the chance.

You obviously taking the pi** Snowy,Thailand has restricted jobs, taxi driving is one of them foreigners can do, if caught you get deported before first being fined then incarcerated in a ‘very pleasant’ detention centre, think of Midnight Express while you wait for your flight if you have the money for one.
It would be good if the U.K. employed the same tactics, deport any asylum seeker working illegally ?
