Brexit....was leaving the EU a mistake??

it does seem odd that the UK never gained riches from being an oil and gas supplier like other countries have. it feels as if that industry never existed for me.

Because it was sold of to the highest bidders, initially owned by BNOC, I can’t think of any other country who sold off their oil and gas assets, not sure if anyone knows different.

Because the government were after a quick buck without the bother and all governments since have been happy to milk it.
No matter who we elect, nothing changes.
