I get you don't like Trump. But..........
He's not waging war anywhere. In fact we're probably closer to peace in Ukraine than at any time since Russia invaded. He's pushing for peace in Gaza.
And contrary to your earlier post he hasn't caused global financial armageddon either.

I wish he'd push for people in Gaza to get food and aid. Netanyahu is one evil kunt for blocking it going to Gaza.

Correct he is only looking after his huge ego and the financials of his mates, if Trump was made of chocolate he would eat himself. He did cause financial Armageddon allowing his mates to dive in and buy all the cheap stocks, he actually advised them too.

Armageddon, it was a short sharp dip and as anyone with any financial acumen will advise, stock markets fluctuate and investments should be viewed as long term. Everyman and his dog knew the tariffs wouldn't be permanent, deals would happen, markets would settle - apart from you flapping like a headless chicken!

There's no evidence that Trump has achieved anything by this trade rejig. There is nothing to say that America is actually better off from all of this. No evidence. However, I can totally believe that there were some select beneficiaries from this market fluctuation.

We aren't even any closer to peace in Ukraine. Trump might think so but Putin has some VERY different ideas.

Putin knows he has the upper hand, he won’t accept a peace deal, sending his lackeys for the meeting in Turkey. Russia is taking over Ukraine bit by bit every day albeit sacrificing his troops, still bombing Ukraine on a daily basis as well.

There's evidence to say that the US received record revenue from those tariffs so their government coffers have benefitted.
The first direct peace talks are taking place today which will be the first since the outbreak of war.
Putin will agree a deal when he gets what he wants, which is not the annexing of the whole of Ukraine.

What evidence? Imports were held. The ports were emptying. Goods were held in producing countries or sold to other countries.

It isnt the first direct peace talks. Those were held in the early days and were fruitless. Putin doesn't need an proper annexation, just a de facto one with a puppet President in Kyiv. Now that's something he more or less HAS stated.

Er, US Treasury figure show that they raised a record $16.3bn in the month of April directly as a result of Trumps tariffs.
OK the first direct peace talks for years, following 2 brief albeit extremely fragile ceasefire. I don't disagree that Putin wants a puppet regime in Kiev, he had one before Zelensky, and that's what he'll get when they do agree to stop the war.

And this is a surprise to you..?

He's the boss of a country where a popular motto is "Walk softly and carry a big stick", and the Colt 45 Single Action Army Revolver is more commonly known as "The Peacemaker."

For a supposedly well-travelled man you don't seem to have learned much...

Think it was way back in the 4th or 5th century some Roman bigwig declared "if you want peace, be prepared for war".

No country where have I holidayed or worked in including the States where it was required to be armed or carry a big stick even in places like Kazakhstan. You live on cloud nine PTID, stop watching Tik Tok, you need to try other places and give Benidorm a miss, I am sure other places sell Toad in the Hole.

Your extremly-limited attention span has resulted in your piss-poor attempt at an insult being aimed at the wrong person.

PTID is innocent, as it is I who have lead you into making an arse of yourself yet again.

It's not even a challenge James...

There you go.

Realists might say that peace and security doesn't just happen. It has do be bought by equipping your country with deterrents to those who might seek to attack it. Unfortunately it may lead to your population taking this peace for granted. Can anyone say there's no truth in that?

Water off a ducks back, especially given I've never partaken of TikTok or been to Benidorm and it's probably 40 years since I tasted the delight of Toad in the Hole.
