yet again overpowered in midfiled, Sheron and Miley overmatched and he has Mancini very high with long balls so cant get into it

Best half in a while...Mancini is infectious, gives everyone else more time and space

him, Clearly and Madine the best 3 players on the pitch by a distance

Stephenson has done well....Miley has not--doesnt look the answer in midfield 2

We should be more than 1 up though and suspect Mancini and Madine only have another 20 mins or so in them so we need another goal

Best 45 mins of the season imo. Mancini and Cleary combining well. Suits Pools. Actually been entertained. Even Parkes dribbled around 4 players like Maradona. Hope we put Boston to bed but we need another goal

Just got to hope we don't get punished for all the missed chances.
Next goal is vital.

3-1 Cleary !

Good football again - Mancini is an absolute joy to watch--if we somehow get a buyer then hopefully we keep him--prob wishful thinking

Have to say I’m confused by two things:

Where has this team been all season because it’s at least play off standard.
Who the fook is counting the crowd?

Best performance in a long time---some stat bod should look at our averag epoints when Mancini plays more than 30 mins vs when he doesnt--may as well enjoy him as he'll be gone soon enough

Didnt like teh subs at 3-1 thought too defensive but cant argue with another goal !

Best performance for numerous seasons...but questions have to be asked...same players so why couldn't they be doing this for most of the season?? Absolutely head scratching. Will we finally get 2 wins on the trot next week at Halifax?? sctatchinghead

Louis Stephensen's reaction when the full time whistle went.

He didn't just punch the air. He absolutely knocked it out then punched it again for good measure.
Brilliant to see that kind of reaction from a young promising Poolie.

What a difference an attacking midfield makes eh?

I reckon they were including absent season ticket holders, both teams and the technical staff (and seagulls) in that attendance number.

So frustrating it really is mate. Maybe it's a toxic atmosphere created by a toxic owner that killed this season before it started. I would bet fooking Peanut Walter Mitty Shithead will be on his way to see Mr. Toxic in Middlesbrough and ask him to keep the club and make him the Chairman and Mr. Burns the assistant director of traffic on Clarence Road. rakxe

Great result and welcome three points. Well played today, looked like a team at last.
Miley is going to be a good signing. Virtually on his own in midfield, and will improve a lot with a bit more class to help him. Clearey and Mancini superb as we have come to expect. Others that caught the eye were Stephenson and Parkes. Charman looked an obvious weak link when he came on. The two big lads up front played well together. No blatant weak links in in the starting eleven but Sheron is marginally lacking. I would like to see that team start every game but with the physical attention some of them get it might be difficult to keep them fit.
Happy tonight for a change. clappp clappp clappp

Campbell didn't touch the pitch and it showed. Mancini ten times the player. Thought Miley was outstanding, proper box to box midfielder.
