Good move from the club to get Lennies view on Limbrick's suitability over the last few months. Clearly Lennie has faith in him. Limbrick will have learnt from Lennie and has been introduced to the role outside of the limelight. Sensible stuff rather than bringing another unknown in. Thanks Lennie.

What has LL done for Limpers to learn from.

How to struggle in this poor division and pass it off as pure bullshit.
Acceptance levels are now the lowest in the club's history.

I think it was more sensible than employing another manager straight away. The cost will be a factor yes, but paying a salary whatever it is doesn't guarantee success does it? Whatever the club had done wouldn't be good enough for some unless we were in the top 5. We aren't. Get used to it and stop moaning. Or carry on if you like for the good it does you.

I don't think it is crap. It's disappointing. but it's not crap.i'm happy with the appointment and happy with the recent signing. We need 2 more players in my view. Full backs. If we are to mount a serious challenge. I left the option in actually for continual moaning as I can't really tell people what to do can I? You know that and you've taken me up on the offer and carried on instead of trying to have a sensible debate. Well done.

LL says he is flipping it to become No2, Can someone at the club tell him that Limbrick already has a No2.
Maybe just disrespecting Skelton.

Turn of phrase. He's probably just trying to protect Skelton from online chit chat and haters like people using childish names for him.

In terms of sensible debate how do you see us challenging with the current midfield options we have?
To my mind we are way short--Parkes is carrying the defence on his own, our full backs (as you point out) are sadly regressing, and our midfiled is desperately short of skill and someone who can get up and down the pitch--nearly every team we have played this season has had a central midfielder who is clearly better than what we have to show--so it cant be that hard to get a couple in surely?

Oh and Grey , Dodds, Mancini and Mani D to name a few are all out of contract come season end--so thats all our pace and skill we do have out at the end of the year

There can be more to come from all over the park, but we are creating chances. Dodds and Ferguson have underperformed. Both have been lacklustre and Dodds is wasteful. Our new signings look good. Positive players. Keeper is playing well. I'm seeing progress. I'm sure the club will try to keep the better players we have got but we have to be realistic. If a better offer comes along they may leave. But we are attracting some decent players.

admire the optimism--Cleary seems decent but is just a loanee---havent seen enough of Folarin or Miley yet--though initial impression of Miley when he came on was he was a little lost-hopefully the goal will do him good and give him confidence--very early days

Any midfield with Feather in means you need a couple alongside him who have real engines and move fwd--right now we don't have anyone fitting that bill. Addin Charman who is undroppable no matter how poor he is and we struggle weekly.
Mancini will be a big difference if fit and we play him but poor lad can never seem to shake off injuries

The best way we could play is like Barnet IMO---3 at the back with Dodds and Cleary as wing backs, Sheron and Feather in midfield at the back and Mancini and Campbell behind Mani D..Not saying that will transform us but that sort of formation and getting our few skillful players on the ball in space maybe a way to go.....but feels a bit like turd polishing with current personnel
